ಅರ್ಥದ ಮೊದಲ ಅರ್ಥವೇ ಅರ್ಥ!
ಜೀವನದ ಪ್ರತಿ ಕ್ಷಣವೂ ನಾವು ಗಳಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಅನುಭವಗಳು. ಅವೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಪತ್ತು ಮತ್ತು ಅರ್ಥ
ಚೆನ್ನುಡಿ
ಕಣ ಕಣವ ಬಿಡದೆ ಚಣ ಚಣವು
ಗಳಿಸು ನೀ ಸಿರಿ ತಿಳಿವುಗಳನು.
ಬಿಡಲು ಕಣವೊಂದ ಸಿರಿ ಎಂತು?
ಕಳೆಯೆ ಚಣವೊಂದ ಕಲಿವೆಂತು?
ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಮೂಲ *
ಕ್ಷಣಶಃ ಕಣಶಶ್ಚೈವ
ವಿದ್ಯಾಮರ್ಥಂ ಚ ಸಾಧಯೇತ್.
ಕ್ಷಣತ್ಯಾಗೇ ಕುತೋ ವಿದ್ಯಾ?
ಕಣತ್ಯಾಗೇ ಕುತೋ ಧನಂ?

ಸಮಯವನ್ನು ಯಾರಿಂದಲೂ ಹಿಡಿದಿಡಲು ಆಗದು. ಆದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ರೂಪಾಂತರಿಸಬಹುದು
ಒಂದೊಂದು ಚಣವೂ ಶ್ರಮಿಸುತ್ತ, ಒಂದೊಂದು ಚೂರೂ ಬಿಡದೆ, ಕಲಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಪತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಗಳಿಸಬೇಕು. ಅದನ್ನೆ "ಕುಳಿತು ಉಂಡರೆ ಕುಡಿಕೆ ಹೊನ್ನು ಸಾಲದು," "ತೆನೆ ತೆನೆ ಕೂಡಿದರೆ ರಾಶಿ" ಅಂತ ಕನ್ನಡದ ಗಾದೆಗಳು ಹೇಳುತ್ತವೆ.
ಸಮಯ (ಕಾಲ) ಅಂದರೆ ಕಳೆದು ಹೋಗುವುದು ಅಂತಲೇ ಅರ್ಥ; ಅದನ್ನು ಯಾರಿಂದಲೂ ಹಿಡಿದಿಡಲು ಆಗದು. ಆದರೆ ಸಮಯವನ್ನು ರೂಪಾಂತರಿಸಬಹುದು, ಅಂದರೆ ;ಚಣ ಚಣವೂ ಸಮಯವನ್ನು ಕೆಲಸದಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿ ಉಪಯುಕ್ತವಾದುದನ್ನು ಸಂಪಾದಿಸಬಹುದು. ಅದಕ್ಕೇ Time is Money ಅಂತ.
ಇಲ್ಲಿ, ʻಕುತೋ ಧನಂʼ ಅನ್ನುವ ಮೂಲಕ, ಅರ್ಥ ಅನ್ನುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಹಣ ಅನ್ನುವ ಆಶಯವೇ ಇದೆ. ಹಾಗಂತ, ೨೪ ಗಂಟೆಗಳ ಕಾಲವನ್ನೂ ಷೇರುಪೇಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಬಡ್ಡಿ ವ್ಯವಹಾರದಲ್ಲಿ, ಲೇವಾದೇವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಅಥವ ಗಳಿಸಿದ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಎಣಿಸುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಬೇಕು ಅಂತಲ್ಲ.
ಜೀವನದ ಪ್ರತಿ ಕ್ಷಣವೂ ನಾವು ಗಳಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಅನುಭವಗಳು. ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಅನುಭವಗಳೆ ಕೊನೆಯವರೆಗೂ ನಮ್ಮೊಡನೆ ಇರುವ ಬಾಳ ಸಂಗಾತಿ. ಅವೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಪತ್ತು ಮತ್ತು ಅರ್ಥ. ಅರ್ಥದ ಮೊದಲ ಅರ್ಥವೇ ಅರ್ಥ! ಅಂದರೆ meaning,ಆಶಯ, ಗುರಿ ಅಂತ. ಬಾಳಿನ ಅರ್ಥ, ಅರ್ಥಾತ ಗುರಿಯನ್ನು ಅರಿತು ಸಾಧಿಬೇಕಾದರೆ ಚಣಚಣವನ್ನೂ ತಿಳಿವನ್ನು ತರುವ, ತನಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರರಿಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದಾಗುವ, ಸೌಖ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವ ಸತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಒಂದೊಂದು ಕಣ, ತುಂಡು, ಚೂರು ಅನುಭವಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ, ಸಾರವನ್ನು ಹಿಂಡಿ, ತಿಳಿವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿ ಬಾಳಸಿರಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಬೇಕು.
ಇದು ಈ ಚೆನ್ನುಡಿಯ ಒಳದನಿ ಆಗಿದೆ, ನಿಜವಾದ ಅರ್ಥವೂ ಆಗಿದೆ.

Time (kaala) means passing away; no one can hold it back. But time can be transformed, that is, even a little bit of time can be spent working and earning something useful. That is why Time is Money.
